Palium Foundation is a charitable organization based out of Kolkata with the objective of serving the poor and downtrodden in various ways. True to the inspiring ideals and values, the Foundation has been promoting and providing basic needs of the people across various sections of the society in different fields including education, improving lives of poor & downtrodden, healthcare, relief efforts, religious events and rural development.
We donate items in quantities as per your wish. Each of the items are packed with a message/name that you want printed on it. For each donation, you will receive photographic proof, ensuring that your contribution is truly making a difference and benefiting those in need. We will make every effort to capture a picture of the item being handed over.
Details of each item are detailed as far as possible. Sometimes the exact item may not be available in which case, we will provide a similar item.

Donate for the purchase of books by the underprivileged children who often cannot afford to invest in them. Books procured are mostly handed down to next group of children who do likewise after completing their study. We also accept used books for donation to schools in slum areas. New books are donated to school libraries who need books for their students. We also accept books from branded competitive tuition centers like Aakash, Allen, FitJEE etc. which are donated to school libraries.

To acknowledge academic excellence in a government school, an award of a book is given to two meritorious students one each from Class 10 and Class 12. This can be a simple, yet effective way to recognize and encourage academic achievement. The book could be chosen to align with the student's interests or be a classic work of literature. In this a student will be given a book, certificate with the attached sticker displaying the name of the person in whose honor the award is being given .
There are many underprivileged children who are in need of funds to fund their higher education. Often such children hail from single parent families or those with very low income. A one time grant is provided to reimburse any cost related to the education.
Vedanta Mission runs a school for the poor children providing free education and food to around 800 students in South 24 Parganas. The school is in need of funds to provide consistent education and facilities to the students.
